Notable changes to the Calven MCP server's public contract, the registry descriptor and the Agent Plugin.

1.2.0 - Unreleased

• The plugin installs in Claude Code from this repository (claude plugin marketplace add calven-ai/calven-mcp, then claude plugin install calven@calven) and ships a Cursor manifest. Both reuse the same skills and .mcp.json.
• Two new skills: deal-prep (a one-page call brief) and claim-check (fact-check a draft against the approved product brief and competitor evidence).
• Two more skills: /calven:win-loss-review builds a monthly or quarterly readout; /calven:start (typed only) checks the connection and suggests first prompts from your workspace.

• Renamed competitive-brief to battlecard, workspace-brief to gtm-overview and claim-check to quality-review. quality-review now also checks on-message fit and staleness after product changes, and runs a persona review.
• Two more skills: market-research (trends, opportunities, verticals and signals) and product-intelligence (product changes and the assets they left stale).
• A read-only gtm-researcher subagent and a Cursor rule that sends company facts to Calven.
• Plugin evals in evals/, run with claude plugin eval against a fictional mocked workspace, including skill-routing cases.
• The gtm-researcher subagent's tools are an explicit allowlist of the 13 Calven read tools.
• OpenAI listing fields and the onboarding skill in plugin.json under extensions.com.openai.
• Listing icons and screenshots in assets/, and the Calven icon in the registry descriptor (server.json 1.2.0, icons).

1.1.0 - 2026-10-07

• The MCP endpoint is now https://api.calven.ai/mcp. The previous endpoint, https://app.calven.ai/api/mcp, is retired: remove the old connection, add the new URL and sign in again.
• OAuth is the only supported sign-in. Clients register with a Client ID Metadata Document; see authentication.
• Documented the Insights tools (get_insights, get_insights_overview, get_insight_detail), bringing the catalog to 14 tools, and the four server prompts.
• Setup steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and Codex, with one-click install for Cursor and VS Code.
• A use-case library: 190 use cases for 19 teams in use-cases/.
• Skills treat content returned by Calven as data, not instructions.
• The repository license is now MIT.
