Privacy Policy

Overview

This is a directory. You can read every page of it without an account, without a sign-in, and without telling us anything about yourself. There is one form on the site, in the footer, and it asks for one thing.

Everything below describes that, and the few requests your browser makes to other companies while a page is open.

Information we collect

If you type an address into the newsletter form, we collect that address. Nothing else, and nothing at all if you do not.

This site sets no cookies. The single thing it stores in your browser is which theme you chose, kept in local storage so the page does not show you the wrong one on your next visit. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

What this directory indexes

Everything catalogued here was read from public repositories on GitHub: plugin manifests, the documentation beside them, and the account names they are published under. Nothing private is fetched, and nothing appears here that its owner had not already published.

Plugin files themselves are not copied. A page shows you what a file contains and points at the repository it lives in, which is where a client downloads it from.

How the indexer behaves

The indexer reads GitHub through the official API, authenticated as this project rather than as any reader. It runs on a schedule of its own and has no connection to anybody visiting the site.

It reads and validates files. It never executes plugin code, and it never writes to a repository it read.

The newsletter address

An address from the footer form is handed to Resend, the mail provider that holds the list, and is used for what that form describes. No copy is kept here and the address is never written to a log.

Asking to be taken off the list is one mail to the address at the bottom of this page.

Analytics

Every page loads Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without assembling a profile of the person visiting. It tells us that a page was read. It does not tell us who read it.

Vercel also serves the site, so its infrastructure handles the request your browser makes, the way any host does.

What your browser fetches from elsewhere

Account pictures are loaded from GitHub, so GitHub sees your browser ask for them. That request is sent without a referrer, so it does not carry the address of the page you were reading when it went out.

No other company's script, font, or pixel is loaded by these pages.

Keeping it, and keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS and has no reader database to breach: the only personal datum involved is the newsletter address, and it is held by the mail provider rather than here.

That address is kept until you ask for it to be removed.

Children

This directory is a tool for people who build software, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under 13.

Changes to this policy

This page changes when the site does, and the date at the top changes with it. It was last edited on 19 August 2026.
