Write a data story as a PowerPoint deck and/or an Excel workbook with live Zebra BI for Office visuals: a title slide with the key message, one slide (or sheet) per supporting message with its Zebra BI chart or table, the data in the workbook, and a picture of each chart for anyone without the add-in. Builds from a story saved by data-story (its story.json under .zebra/stories) or from the story just told in the conversation. Use when the user says 'make it a deck', 'PowerPoint', 'pptx', 'slides', 'Excel', 'xlsx', 'workbook', 'send this as slides', '/zebra-bi:story-office'. Only when someone asks for a file; data-story never builds it on its own.

Compatibility

Builds in Claude Code only (python3, standard library); in Claude chat or Cowork it hands over the story JSON instead. Sends each chart's arguments to the Zebra BI MCP over HTTP at build time, and starts Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Chromium headless on 127.0.0.1 for the chart pictures.
