Workspace

Projects are stored under MEDPAPER_BASE_DIR when set, otherwise the client's project directory. If the client starts the server inside the plugin folder, data goes to the client-managed plugin data directory instead.

To point a running server at your research folder, call workspace_state_action(action="bind", workspace_dir="/absolute/path"). workspace_state_action(action="get") reports the active root and its source.
