plivo/plivo

v1.3.2Apache-2.0

Build Plivo CX agents, put voice agents on real phone calls and run Plivo tasks from your agent: skills for CX agents, the Plivo CLI, SIP trunking, audio streaming and Voice XML.

plivo-audio-streaming

Takes a new or existing Plivo user to a voice agent on real calls through audio streaming (the Stream XML element), using the Plivo CLI. It checks credit, KYC and the number, builds a test agent (an echo test, or Pipecat with OpenAI) or reuses the user's own WebSocket voice agent, exposes it through ngrok or Cloudflare Tunnel, creates an audio-stream application, links the number and places a test call, then covers go-live, handoff and debugging. Use when someone wants to build or try a Plivo voice agent or bot, connect a WebSocket bot to Plivo, or for a caller hearing silence, errors 7011/8011, streamed-call hangup codes, bot-to-human handoff, India KYC for an agent number. Not for SIP trunking (plivo-sip-trunking) or plain Voice XML (plivo-voice-xml).

plivo-cli

Runs Plivo tasks with the plivo CLI instead of raw curl, as a short conversation that asks what the user wants when the request is vague, previews every write and asks before it changes or spends anything; routes voice agents, XML and SIP to their own skills. Covers SMS/MMS/WhatsApp, calls and call diagnosis, numbers, applications, Verify OTP, login and profiles. Use for any Plivo API request or plivo command, or when a Plivo auth_id or auth_token comes up. Not for answer-URL XML, WebSocket bots or SIP design (see plivo-voice-xml, plivo-audio-streaming, plivo-sip-trunking).

plivo-cx-agents

Build, update, test and publish Plivo CX Agents (conversation flows made of nodes) through the Agents API and the Plivo CLI. Trigger whenever the user wants to create, edit, wire, validate, test or publish a Plivo CX agent or flow, asks which Plivo nodes to use, or mentions AgentFlowNode / agent_uuid / the Agents API.

plivo-sip-trunking

Takes a new or existing Plivo user from a voice agent on LiveKit, ElevenLabs, Retell, Vapi, xAI or a self-hosted SIP stack to real phone calls over Plivo SIP trunking (Zentrunk), using the Plivo CLI. It checks credit, KYC and the number, asks which platform and which call directions, checks the platform's SIP host answers, creates the origination URI, credential or IP list and trunks, routes the number, walks the user through the platform-side setup and test calls in both directions, then covers go-live, SIP REFER transfers and debugging. Use for origination URIs, inbound or outbound trunks, TCP/TLS/UDP transport, Zentrunk hangup codes (4090, 4170, 4590), India calling rules. Not for WebSocket voice agents (plivo-audio-streaming) or Plivo XML (plivo-voice-xml).

plivo-voice-xml

Writes, checks and tests Plivo Voice XML, the document an answer URL returns to control a call, as a short conversation: asks what the call should do, writes and checks the XML, creates the app, links the number, places a test call and debugs it. Covers Speak, Play, GetDigits/GetInput IVRs, Dial forwarding, Record and voicemail, Conference, MultiPartyCall. Use for Plivo XML, answer or action URLs, 8011/8012 invalid XML, 7011 URL errors, X-Plivo-Signature-V3 checks. Not for WebSocket voice bots (plivo-audio-streaming) or SIP trunks (plivo-sip-trunking).
