openstory-so/openstory

v1.3.2MIT

Generate entire films, episodes, and micro-dramas from a script, or single images and video clips, and mint a library style. Connects the hosted OpenStory MCP server.

create-sequence

Create a multi-scene AI video sequence via OpenStory's public HTTP API — turn a script or brief into a sequence, enhance a script, poll generation, and export a stitched MP4. Use when asked to make, generate, or produce a video or sequence from a script or idea; to enhance or expand an OpenStory script; to check generation status; to export/download an MP4; or when the user runs /create-sequence. Not for creating a library style (that's create-style) and not for editing the OpenStory codebase.

create-style

Create an OpenStory library style from reference images, video, URLs, or a written look. Scans the inputs, drafts a v2 config, POSTs create-style. Use when asked to create, extract, capture, or craft a style or look from refs; to turn footage or a brand into an OpenStory style; or when the user runs /create-style. Not for generating a video (that's create-sequence).

setup

Sign in to OpenStory, confirm the team, and start a first sequence. Use when the user just installed OpenStory, asks to sign in, pick a team, or run setup. Not for editing an existing sequence (create-sequence) or minting a style (create-style).

stitch

Play stills, dialogue, music, and video as one sequence in the browser with the stitch command. Use when the user runs /stitch, or asks to stitch, preview, or play a cut from local or remote (http(s) URL) image, audio, and video files.

stitch-player

Use when wiring @openstory/stitch, building a PlaybackClip list of stills, dialogue, music and video, or exporting that sequence to an MP4. Covers which sound belongs on a clip, how long a still holds, how music is mixed, and which URLs the player can read.
