FeedbackLens (Kiro power)
Turn raw user feedback — GitHub issues or a CSV export — into a ranked, evidence-backed list of product opportunities, then draft PRDs from the top ones. Every claim comes with a quoted excerpt, and personal data (emails, phone numbers, @handles) is redacted before anything is stored or shown.
What's included
plugin.json— the power manifest (keywords: feedback, user research, product discovery, prd, roadmap, prioritization, github issues).mcp.json— registers thefeedbacklensMCP server, which exposes 7 tools:import_github_issues,import_csv,load_sample,top_opportunities,get_evidence,search_feedback,generate_report.skills/customer-discovery/SKILL.md— the workflow: load → rank → pull evidence → report/PRD.skills/customer-discovery/references/scoring.md— the scoring model, explained in plain words.
Install
- Open Kiro → Powers panel → Add Custom Power → Import power from a folder, and
select this
power/directory (or import from this repository's GitHub URL once pushed). - Try activation by mentioning a keyword, e.g. "help me prioritize this feedback."
Path limitation
mcp.json's args (["tsx", "packages/mcp/src/index.ts"]) is a path relative to this
repository's root, not to the power folder. This power is designed to run from inside the
FeedbackLens monorepo (where packages/mcp actually exists) — installing it standalone in a
different project will fail to start the server unless you point args at wherever you've
placed a built copy of packages/mcp. If you want a portable, install-anywhere version, publish
@feedbacklens/mcp to npm and change command/args to npx -y @feedbacklens/mcp instead.
Usage
Once connected, ask things like:
- "Load the sample feedback and tell me what to build next."
- "Import issues from
owner/repoand rank the top pain points." - "Show me the evidence behind the top theme."
- "Write a PRD for the sync-conflicts theme."
See skills/customer-discovery/SKILL.md for the full workflow the agent follows.
