Use when the user wants notebooks to run on a server or a cluster (a machine reached over ssh), asks to add, use, switch or stop a machine, or a notebook tool says the machine isn't ready, is queued or was stopped.

Use for any work in a live notebook through Endeavor's notebook tools (new_notebook, open_notebook, read_cell, edit_cell, submit_changes, ...): creating or opening a notebook; adding, editing, deleting, folding or running cells; reading results and checking plots; widgets and data analysis in a Julia (Pluto) or R (Ember) notebook; working in a notebook another agent has open; or a notebook tool refusing a call. Read it before the first notebook tool call of a session. Not for Jupyter .ipynb files.

Use when the user asks for notebook work (Julia or R notebooks) and Endeavor's notebook tools (new_notebook, open_notebook, ...) aren't in your tool list, or when the endeavor MCP server failed to start or isn't connected.
