Squad for Codex

Coordinate agreed GitHub work through five roles, native subagent notifications, durable job records and independent review. This directory is a self-contained Codex plugin; it does not need the Claude Code plugin.

Start in your project with $squad:init, then run squad start in Zellij. Talk directly to the PM about planning, delivery and retrospectives. The launcher selects the configured PM model and effort; loading a skill alone cannot do that. Without the short CLI, use bash <plugin-root>/scripts/start.sh.

The runtime reference ships with this plugin. Without the short squad command, invoke the bundled scripts with bash <plugin-root>/scripts/squad.sh COMMAND and bash <plugin-root>/scripts/gitw.sh COMMAND.

Full installation, requirements and tutorials are maintained in the repository. Linux is the supported runtime. Optional recovery uses a timer; the managed PM itself requires systemd and the Go App Server adapter. Follow the repository’s one-time launcher setup. Normal completion uses native notifications. Preserve deliberate pauses across updates.
