v2.1.1MIT

Design, refine and rebuild scientific figures in one Codex conversation. Editable SVG, PDF and PPTX.

Changelog

2.1.1 — 2026-09-11 (preview maintenance)

Document the observed macOS Inkscape restricted-execution failure and the approved execution route. Doctor no longer probes Inkscape when PDF is not requested. Keep the unchanged 2.1.0 dependency runtime to avoid unnecessary downloads. Clarify invocation, update-in-place installation, related work and validation scope. Move compatibility prose into the skill body for strict frontmatter validators. This is a maintenance release, not a new figure-generation model or quality claim.

2.1.0 — 2026-09-09 (preview)

Added an executable workflow-state layer: immutable concept versions and parents, user-approval hash pins, local before/after previews, stable-ID native patches, edit-scope checks including shared assets, stale-build detection and review records. Managed export now refuses unapproved concepts and unfinished edits. Legacy projects without workflow state retain compatibility.

Removed the duplicate skill tree. Added valid concise skill metadata, native-image capability boundaries, private opt-in dependency setup, English/Chinese quickstarts, portable and compatibility plugin manifests, evaluation cases, CI, community docs, reviewed release packaging and a non-overwriting GitHub publisher.

The old 2.0 draft primarily repackaged the 1.1 exporter and described concept routing; 2.1 implements the local orchestration mechanisms instead of claiming they already existed.

Earlier local prototypes

1.0: SVG/PDF native reconstruction/export checks. 1.1: common-scene native PPTX, multi-format export, manual-output overwrite protection. 2.0: initial plugin-ready packaging and in-Codex concept-loop instructions. These version notes do not imply prior public GitHub releases.
