v2.1.1MIT

Test the idea before you build it. Rapidly turns an idea into a Lean Canvas, a measurable hypothesis and Pretotyping experiments, then returns a build prompt for the smallest test worth running.

choose-the-next-idea

Use when a team has several ideas saved in Rapidly and wants to know which one to test next, where the evidence gaps are, or how its idea portfolio is tracking. Rapidly compares the saved ideas and explains the scores, gaps, uncertainty and rationale for each one. Don't use it to generate new ideas; use test-an-idea or find_ideas for that.

record-a-test-result

Use when someone has run a test for an idea saved in Rapidly, such as a Fake Door page, landing page, pre-order, sign-up form, pilot or customer conversations, and wants to record what customers did and decide whether to continue, change or stop. Rapidly saves the observation against the experiment without overwriting history, then gives a traceable recommendation. Don't use it for ideas that haven't been tested yet; use test-an-idea instead.

setup

Use right after Rapidly is installed, or when the Rapidly tools aren't available, to connect the user's Rapidly account and run a first idea. Covers signing in with OAuth, choosing a Rapidly team and checking the connection.

test-an-idea

Use when someone is about to build, launch, fund or pitch a new product, feature, service or business and wants to know whether customers will want it first. Covers questions like "is this a good idea?", "how do I validate this before I build it?", "what's the smallest test I could run?" and "will customers pay for this?". Rapidly builds the Lean Canvas, a measurable hypothesis and three to five Pretotyping experiments, then returns a build prompt for the smallest test. Don't use it to write production code, build the finished product or write general marketing copy.
