v0.2.1MIT

Learn prompting through everyday work, with optional practice and portable Learning Cards. Native-app pilot.

Prompting Wizard — Everyday

Learn prompting through tasks you already do. Finish your work first, then choose a short practice opportunity, example or lesson. No interview or programming prerequisite. This open-source teaching pilot helps you explain what you changed and judge whether it helped; reading a lesson alone does not prove mastery.

Start learning

Install this plugin through your host's supported plugin interface. Start a new chat, select the learn skill if needed, and say:

Use Prompting Wizard to teach me through my work; no interview. Keep tips occasional. My task is: [your task].

The plugin includes its teaching guide and an empty Learning Card. If the host cannot read the guide, the coach should say so and offer lightweight tips until you supply it. See the installation and device walkthrough.

Choose how to learn

  • Practice: revise one part of your prompt and separately predict its effect. Choose Retry to try your revision, then explain what changed. Same-chat comparisons are exploratory.
  • Example: see a short demonstration.
  • Lesson: learn the principle using your task.
  • Later: dismiss the opportunity and continue working.

These are text replies, not added app buttons. Ask for more, less, on-request teaching or pause coaching in the current chat. Installation alone does not opt every conversation into coaching. External actions are never repeated simply to compare prompts.

Keep your Learning Card

Attach your current LEARNING.md when continuing in a new chat. After practice, the coach proposes a record of what you demonstrated and any help received. Accept only accurate records, request the complete updated card, and save it yourself. Attach that copy next time, including when switching between ChatGPT and Claude.

No card means unknown history. Cards do not sync automatically, replace project uploads or reconstruct past chats. If copies conflict or a card is invalid, retain the originals; the coach must not invent a replacement. Card checks are conversational, not an executable validator.

Data and permissions

The plugin reads the current conversation, bundled teaching references and the Learning Card you explicitly supply through the host assistant. Prompts and cards can contain personal information. They are processed by your AI provider under your account settings and its policies.

This package declares no connectors, MCP servers, hooks, scripts, credentials, telemetry or background capture. Entuvo operates no Wizard storage service and receives no prompts or cards through this plugin. Your ordinary task still uses the host capabilities you authorize. Saving a card or attaching it to another provider is your choice; uninstalling the plugin does not delete saved files, uploads, chat history or provider memory. Delete those copies separately through their owners' controls.

Pilot status and support

Version 0.2.1 (0.2.0 added an on-request review of an uploaded ChatGPT or Claude data export; 0.2.1 tightens its limits). Native ChatGPT/Claude web, desktop and phone installation, activation and card transfer remain unverified; local package checks and synthetic model tests are not device testing. Marketplace approval and availability are not claimed. This everyday plugin is separate from Prompting Wizard's optional 30-lesson coding-agent course. Human learning effectiveness has not been validated.

Report installation or teaching problems through GitHub Issues, using synthetic examples rather than personal cards or transcripts. Maintained by Entuvo; distributed under the MIT License. See privacy and terms.
