v0.1.0MIT

Turn flat artwork or an image concept into an editable, rigged 2D animation project.

RigForge Agent Plugin

RigForge turns approved flat artwork—or a visual concept—into an editable 2D skeletal animation project. The bundled skill guides clarification, layer reconstruction, independent visual critique, DragonBones/LoongBones rigging, HTML preview, revision routing, and export.

Current scope

  • One articulated 2D subject and a fixed camera
  • Supplied artwork or host-provided image generation/editing
  • Layered RGBA source project with explicit pivots and bones
  • DragonBones 5.5 JSON and texture atlas, importable by LoongBones
  • PixiJS 8 HTML preview and editable project ZIP
  • Automated project, neutral-fidelity, and round-trip checks

The plugin does not pretend that arbitrary flattened artwork can always be reconstructed perfectly. Its workflow stops for approval after the brief and master artwork, then uses visual critics for the parts that metrics cannot judge.

Install in Codex

codex plugin marketplace add Emil-10/rigforge-agent-plugin
codex plugin add rigforge-agent-plugin@rigforge

Start a new Codex task, attach artwork, and ask:

Use $animate-rigged-art to turn this character into a seamless two-second waving loop.

The skill requires Python 3 and Pillow for deterministic project tooling:

python -m pip install -r requirements.txt

Verify

python skills/animate-rigged-art/scripts/rigforge.py self-test
python skills/animate-rigged-art/scripts/rigforge.py demo output/demo
python -m http.server 8000 -d output/demo/dist

Open http://127.0.0.1:8000/. The preview loads pinned PixiJS and DragonBones browser runtimes from jsDelivr.
