challenge-ideas

Constructively stress-test the user's idea, argument, plan, or decision when they ask for critique, a sanity check, a devil's advocate, or help deciding. Test assumptions, weigh counterarguments and alternatives, and give an evidence-calibrated recommendation. Do not apply an unsolicited critique to unrelated execution tasks or requests for emotional support.
