Requires Make, Node.js 24+, uv, and Claude Code.

make install
make check

To validate without formatting, run make validate.

The validation scripts follow Home Assistant Developer. They validate skills with pinned skills-ref, check the portable plugin schema, run Claude's manifest validators, and check marketplace consistency.

The root plugin.json uses Agent Plugins 1.0. .agents/plugins/marketplace.json exposes it to Codex. .claude-plugin/ supplies Claude Code's plugin and marketplace manifests. Both hosts share the four local skills under skills/. The Home Assistant skills listed above are installed from their separate repository.
