Frame new ideas and existing products, map feature/code evidence and change impact, and carry owner choices through planning, implementation and review.
Changelog
0.1.0-preview.24
- Prepare unapproved local bundles from an explicit full Git commit and complete subtree, with explicitly supplied companion files and reviewed mode metadata.
- Exclude working-tree changes and untracked files. Refuse unsupported entries, collisions, unavailable objects and oversized output without a partial bundle.
0.1.0-preview.23
- Allow up to 128 files in reviewed local bundles while retaining the aggregate byte limit and exact content and recipient checks.
- Refuse oversized bundles without truncation; preserve release history when using a compatible package to retrieve larger bundles.
0.1.0-preview.22
- Add trusted local checked handoff against the expected, released and current recipient binding, refusing changed bindings without exporting a bundle.
- Preserve historical consume and completed receipts. The check applies at local export admission; it does not authenticate recipients or authorize remote sends.
0.1.0-preview.21
- Return a busy error instead of waiting when another writer holds the product record lock. Preserve the map, history and active lock on refusal.
- Keep expected-hash and history checks on later record and retirement updates; do not retry automatically or remove another writer's lock.
0.1.0-preview.20
- Validate existing product records and their derived snapshots before updates; refuse invalid records without changing the map or history.
- Preserve expected-hash conflict checks and complete prior-record history for valid updates, including source refreshes.
0.1.0-preview.19
- Separate declared product assessment scope from source freshness in full and selected-feature handoffs. Legacy records remain readable with unscoped status.
- Bind optional scope declarations to product content and source revision while retaining history and explicit limits on semantic alignment and authority.
0.1.0-preview.18
- Add trusted opt-in setup planning, enable/status/disable and interrupted-setup recovery for an existing local ledger in a dedicated configuration home.
- Bind configuration to installed code, ledger/worker/home identities and exact destination; refuse unknown configuration and drift without resetting data.
- Setup reports configuration state only, never protected-host readiness.
0.1.0-preview.17
- Clarify opt-in native MCP configuration for the installed local publication service, its exact candidate tool set, and safe reconnect/opt-out behavior.
- Keep initialization and trusted control separate from server startup; native discovery does not establish semantic or whole-host protection.
0.1.0-preview.16
- Add an opt-in stdio MCP handler for reviewed local bundles, with separate trusted control, exact envelope and destination binding, durable receipts and a local consumer that emits only released bundles. No remote publication is enabled.
- Add a trusted-host publication callback contract and synthetic boundary tests.
- Route requested local handoffs from start to available publication tools; keep missing setup and whole-host enforcement separate from local operation results.
Unreleased candidate — 0.1.0-preview.15
- Add repeated explicit
inspect --scope PATHcomponent/test source scopes. Candidate paths are filtered; ancestor instructions and all repository change warnings stay visible. Default full census and no-code greenfield stay unchanged. - Reject invalid/unknown/symlink scopes without a global fallback. This is a source census, not automatic feature discovery or complete map coverage.
Unreleased candidate — 0.1.0-preview.14
- Add explicit completed retirement recording with current outcome evidence, prior feature/anchor context, existing CAS/history and known shared survivors.
- Allow later current-evidence refresh while retaining immutable outcome evidence at its historical commit, including after the outcome file is archived.
- Preserve optional retirement context in status and selected/full handoffs; existing schema-1, historical retired and no-code records need no migration.
- Decision and review references remain submitted claims, not authenticated approval or independent verification. No actual retirement or runtime expansion.
- Consolidate the reviewed cloud-entry/routing changes from preview 13 below into this single preview 14 candidate; preserve both source histories.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.13
- Explain how an existing cloud/remote assistant with authorized resource tools can follow installed product skills without a local device or new model launcher. Keep file-resource access distinct from automatic host discovery, persistent coordination, authenticated dot and host acceptance.
- Route ordinary authorized delivery/shipping through the bounded-change guide; reserve local team runtime setup for requested persistent coordination.
- Preserve canonical-store reuse, equal greenfield/brownfield entry, explicit unavailable/unsaved fallbacks and existing review/authority gates.
0.1.0-preview.12 — 2026-10-30
- Add an explicit bounded-change route shared by product, stories, sprint, review and realignment. Embedded goal/scope/design/criteria replace full-pipeline document prerequisites; evidence, independent review and authority gates remain.
- Make onboarding classify observed capabilities, planned/deferred gaps and next useful work with stable IDs, evidence, alternatives, reasons and next checks.
- Carry accepted work through an authorized normal-PR/exact-head-review/CI/merge shipping handoff and canonical state refresh, without widening runtime lanes.
- Preserve historical self-development evidence; the corrected route is a new follow-up, not a claim that missing earlier planning documents existed.
Earlier local candidate — 0.1.0-preview.11
- Ignore Git replacement objects during exact-commit review and acceptance-gate inspection, preventing replacement trees from masking altered tracked bytes.
- Add read-only
handoff --feature IDto resume one exact capability while preserving whole-product owner, shape, authority, unconfirmed choices and global freshness context. Default handoff stays unchanged; invalid IDs fail explicitly. - Consolidate the existing product/drafting, greenfield reviewer/loading, optional Python impact and supervision/verification source into one versioned preview. No new runtime feature is introduced by consolidation. Product records are saved by an authorized host; protected native-manager write lanes stay unchanged.
- Scope the preview to product/feature decisions, planning and read-only retirement proposals. Full retirement lifecycle, native/dot acceptance and token benefit remain unproved or incomplete; prior branch and local-test history below is not a release record.
Local test only — 0.1.0-integration.20261030
- Combine existing supervision, drafting, selective loading and optional impact increments in a disposable worktree. Not published, released or approved.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.10
- Add optional
--transitiveto existing product impact and retirement proposals: possible Python import reach at the recorded commit, shortest file/line evidence chains, shared consumers and raw dependency freshness. Direct coverage remains unchanged. No graph service, second registry or project-code execution. - Report unresolved/ambiguous imports, unsupported languages/package contexts, dynamic loaders and parse limits. Greenfield remains code-free; unavailable optional reach is informational and does not gate story readiness.
- Include possible enclosing regular-package initializer reach for Python module anchors with no explicit imports; label implicit edges with null source line and retain unknown package context. Preserve initializer-only shared consumers and detect raw initializer/dependency changes.
- Derived exclusive retirement reach remains candidate-only and never permits deletion or replaces owner/migration/rollback/usage review. Retain source pins and MIT attribution for the selectively adapted upstream traversal design.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.9
- Keep no-code greenfield architecture/story review grounded in proposed paths and explicit setup/test unknowns instead of demanding an existing repository.
- Route focused feature-map queries through a short core contract, retaining workspace, owner, evidence and preservation rules. Load full product/writing guidance for authoring and retirement work. Extract common rules from the existing references instead of layering duplicate authoring instructions. The common contract owns reuse; unchanged HEAD in a mutable checkout is insufficient. Resource/quality improvement requires model evaluation; bytes alone do not prove it.
- Consolidate the shared language/context rules for the architecture/story reviewers. This changes instructions, not host loading machinery or authority.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.8
- Add compact product drafting for ideas and existing code. Feature names and supplied routes expand to complete record input without repetitive JSON work. Code/evidence routes are checked at a full commit; their presence never promotes availability, usefulness evidence or owner confirmation. Draft does not save.
- Reject outline typos and oversized expansion; preserve explicit attributed choices while defaulting missing judgements and source coverage to unknown.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.7
- Add
$delivery:productfor equally first-class greenfield and brownfield work, with one shared record, an optional Git code snapshot and six separate usefulness/evidence judgements. Carry owner intent, explicit cuts and the smallest sufficient work form into existing planning/review skills. - Add a standard-library product helper for source census, curated file maps, full-commit/raw-byte freshness, direct feature impact, revision-safe history, product handoffs and read-only retirement proposals that preserve shared code.
- Keep architecture/story paths explicitly proposed for no-code greenfield work; verify existing paths only when source exists. Preserve feature promises in handoffs and include usefulness, evidence and pending replacement/migration/ rollback context in retirement proposals.
- Retain named method provenance and original MIT notices. No external runtime, provider, hook, graph service, code deletion or authenticated owner decision is introduced. Greenfield can proceed without a repository; planned code stays absent.
Unreleased
- Correct status and installation guidance to distinguish available repository source, installed snapshots, local runtime observations and pending host acceptance.
- Add an optional trusted in-process supervision boundary with explicit binding generations, task scope, caller request identity, stale-state checks and durable assignment receipts. Native dispatch and operator acceptance stay authoritative. This is fake-transport-tested; no authenticated dot integration is installed.
- Add explicit local exact-SHA scratch review and revision-bound command evidence helpers. Retain real outputs and failed results; reuse raw-byte checks from the existing gates. These are evidence submissions, not automatic acceptance.
- Preserve uncertain assignment outcomes across recovery and reconcile known native failures without presenting them as successful task acceptance.
Unreleased — 0.1.0-preview.6
- Refuse forbidden native command/file escalation immediately using the offered decline/cancel response, so an impossible approval cannot stall the team. Operator questions and protected task acceptance still require explicit capture.
- Keep builders on the supported staged-index commit workflow and prevent generated Python caches from invalidating committed-worktree checks.
- Distinguish a clean operator interrupt from an operational CLI error.
- Correct maintainer test input and assignment-completion checks; retain prior failures separately from fresh validation.
This preview remains local and unreleased. Desktop, ChatGPT and authenticated human acceptance require separate validation.
Earlier local milestone — 0.1.0-preview.5
- Add local persistent Codex roles, bound peer messages, exact native turn controls, watchdog/recovery and explicit tool-schema migration boundaries.
- Add controlled canonical artifact saves, revision hashes, retained prior bytes and durable save-intent reconciliation after interrupted filesystem effects.
- Add Beads-backed work materialisation, readiness, claiming, implementation, independent review, surface evidence and exact operator-attested task closure. No merge, push or deployment is granted by task acceptance.
- Add a trusted operator-terminal response channel with one-use, expiring, source/scope-bound receipts. Arbitrary JSON replies and worker lane escalation cannot provide protected approval.
- Adapt the pinned Jev judge and catalogue; add explicitly selected OpenAI Decisions, strict provider/configuration/domain checks, native coordinator invocation, and provider/model/question-specific protected calibration policy.
- Add denial, recovery, native persistence, local Beads and provider tests. Synthetic calibration candidates remain maintainer evidence, not defaults.
- Document runtime dependencies, configuration, recovery and acceptance limits.
- Guide builders to stage explicit files and commit the reviewed index without pathspecs; temporary-index commit forms remain unsupported. Keep generated Python caches out of the committed-worktree evidence check.
This is an unreleased runtime preview. Desktop and ChatGPT acceptance remain pending. Local Beads/Git/terminal fixtures and selected native probes do not establish production reliability or universal enforcement over unrelated clients.
Earlier local milestone — 0.1.0-preview.4
- Added 15 planning skills, 20 templates and 10 review lenses, from initial framing through implementation handoff, acceptance review and realignment.
- Added optional local initialization, inventory and prose-count helpers.
- Added explicit export and sequential-review behavior when saving, execution or delegation is unavailable; corrected the portable manifest and simulation follow-up guidance.
That milestone contained planning only, before the local runtime and provider implementation above. Neither milestone has been published by these changes.
Upstream baseline and alignment

upstream.json records original paths, hashes and adaptations.
The source repository is unchanged. Historical Jev measurements do not calibrate
the OpenAI adapter. Future alignment deliberately identifies adopted, adapted or
omitted upstream changes; it does not automatically import Claude-specific
hooks, launchers or permissions.
