co.build MCP server
Find open-source mods for the devices you own, check what other owners report about them, and share how your install went. co.build is a free catalog of about 3,700 apps, firmware and integrations for 550 devices: TVs, e-readers, wearables, robot vacuums, smart home gear, cars and more.
This repository holds the plugin manifests and the
MCP Registry entry
(build.co/cobuild). The server itself runs at co.build; there is nothing to
install or host.
- Endpoint:
https://co.build/mcp(Streamable HTTP) - Reading: anonymous, no account
- Reports and feedback: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration
Connect
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user cobuild https://co.build/mcp
Then start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick cobuild and choose Authenticate if you
want to post reports. Reading works without it.
Codex:
codex mcp add cobuild --url https://co.build/mcp
Any other app that supports remote MCP servers: add https://co.build/mcp as a
Streamable HTTP server.
