Skills for families: find, view and compare licensed child care providers using public licensing records, see open tour times at schools that publish them on Clear Day, and request a tour. Clear Day then emails you a confirmation link.
Compares two to five licensed daycare, preschool or child care providers side by side from public licensing records, then helps a parent weigh them against their own priorities. Use when a parent says "compare these daycares", "which one should I pick", "help me choose between two centers", "side by side", "pros and cons of these providers", or has a short list and needs to decide. Reads public records only and needs no sign-in.
Finds licensed daycare, preschool and child care providers near a city or ZIP code using public licensing records, shows each provider's license status, ages served, hours and capacity, and checks open tour times. Use when a parent says "find daycare near me", "licensed child care in my ZIP code", "licensed child care for a toddler", "daycares that take subsidy or serve meals", "open early or stay open late", or asks about one provider's license or tour times. Reads public records only and needs no sign-in.
Builds a calm two-week plan for starting daycare, preschool or child care, covering the week before, the first day, a graduated-days schedule, what to pack, goodbye tips and end-of-day questions. Use when a parent says their child is starting daycare, has a first day coming up, is nervous about drop-off or separation, or asks "how do I prepare my child for daycare?" or "what should I pack?". Works with no tools connected.
Builds a personalized checklist for touring a daycare, preschool or child care center, so a parent knows what to ask and what to look for. Use when a parent says they are going on a tour, visiting a child care center, choosing a daycare or preschool, or asks "what should I ask on a daycare tour?", "what should I look for?" or "help me prepare for a visit". The checklist works with no tools connected; requesting a tour needs the Clear Day tools and an explicit yes.
