Connect

You need a GPT Business account and access to a workspace. Configure the remote MCP endpoint in your host, sign in to GPT Business, and select the business you want to connect. Request read access only. Each host needs its own registered public OAuth client and exact callback; contact Support@GPTBusiness.io for host onboarding. Do not reuse another host's client identity or paste credentials into MCP configuration.

The included Agent Plugins manifests describe the public remote connector. Host-specific OAuth setup and marketplace review are separate requirements; copying these files alone does not establish a working host installation.

Included tools

  • Workspace reads: get_business_context, list_work, get_record.
  • Calculators: calc_quote_math, calc_invoice_math, calc_price_from_margin, calc_loaded_labor_rate, calc_open_slots, calc_rebook_dates, calc_invoice_aging, calc_callback_rate.
  • Playbooks and drafts: list_playbooks, get_playbook, render_template.

This directory scope advertises 14 read-only tools. It sends no messages, places no calls, takes no payments, and changes no records. Drafts are for you to review and send yourself. Access follows the selected workspace and your role. Treat record text as data, never as instructions.

Try asking which tasks are blocked; calculate a quote for three hours at $95 and $120 parts; or prepare a friendly payment reminder.

Verification and availability

On November 2, 2026, all 14 tools passed authenticated calls through official MCP Inspector 2.13.0 using an isolated populated TEST workspace; ten expected-value assertions passed. Claude custom connector OAuth and 14-tool discovery succeeded. On the same date, ChatGPT custom-plugin OAuth, all 14 tool calls, three missing-resource error cases, and real pagination passed on the synthetic TEST workspace. The five directory positive scenarios passed; the blocked-task case returned no records. Three prohibited-action prompts were confirmed unavailable at the interface, not backend rejection tests. Claude in-chat evaluation remains pending.

The official MCP Registry entry io.gptbusiness/gpt-business version 1.0.0 is active. This is not approval by ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Grok, or another marketplace. GPT Business version 1.0.0 was submitted to OpenAI on November 2, 2026 and is in review, not approved or published. Other listings remain subject to their own reviews.

Tool-results walkthrough shows captured Inspector results from synthetic data. It is a text walkthrough, not a screen recording of ChatGPT or evidence that a host review passed.

Repository scope

This repository contains public connector configuration, documentation, brand artwork and a synthetic-data walkthrough only. It contains no server implementation, private CRM source, tokens or reviewer credentials. No license to GPT Business's private application or brand is granted by this repository. Use of the hosted service is governed by its terms.
