PDF Table to Excel

A public OpenAI plugin that converts selectable tables in PDF files into downloadable XLSX workbooks for any user or organization.

Version 1.1.0 preserves host file upload and adds a read-only MCP App result preview. It shows the filename, processed pages, table count, worksheet names, sample rows and expiry. Download uses the host's openLink action on the verified temporary URL. Visible follow-up buttons ask ChatGPT to rename, inspect a worksheet or convert another uploaded PDF. Hosts without widgets receive the same result as usable text and structured data.

Current limits

Maximum decoded PDF size: 20 MB.
Selectable text tables only. OCR is not included.
One user-selected PDF per tool call.
Generated workbooks remain in memory for no more than 15 minutes and are removed by periodic expiration cleanup.

External gates

Public deployment changes, developer identity verification, portal registration, submission and publication require fresh approval.
