Wixzel Voice plugin (Copilot CLI, Cursor and other Agent Plugins clients)
Build AI voice agents that answer and place real phone calls over your own carrier, on any voice engine, with one API key.
Needs a Wixzel Voice account with prepaid credit (sign up at https://voice.wixzel.com). Phone calls also need your own carrier account; share links, apps and the mobile app do not.
This plugin connects your coding agent (GitHub Copilot CLI, Cursor, Codex or any Agent Plugins client) to the hosted Wixzel Voice MCP server at https://mcp.voice.wixzel.com/mcp. With it, the agent can create and edit voice agents, connect SIP trunks and phone numbers, place test and real calls, run call campaigns, manage leads and knowledge bases, and read call transcripts, usage and costs.
The first time the agent connects, it opens a browser window to sign in to Wixzel Voice and approve the scopes it asks for (OAuth 2.1). No API key is stored in this plugin. You can revoke the connection at any time from your Wixzel Voice account.
What it sends and where
The plugin contains no code. It only tells the agent where the MCP server is. Tool calls, and the data you give them (agent prompts, phone numbers, lead lists, documents), go to Wixzel Voice at mcp.voice.wixzel.com and api.voice.wixzel.com. Some tools spend prepaid credit or place real phone calls; your agent asks before it runs them.
Without OAuth
Clients without OAuth can run the open-source stdio server with an API key from https://voice.wixzel.com/connect:
npx -y wixzel-voice-mcp
with WIXZEL_API_KEY set in its environment. The server source is in apps/mcp of this repository (MIT).
