Tremor Watch

How many market relationships stopped behaving this week.

Every Saturday morning the Antevo Tremor Index is written for the week that ended on Friday. It follows 753 pairs of markets in seven families: equity regions, US sectors, credit, bonds, commodities, FX and crypto, and volatility. A pair has stopped behaving when its correlation is two standard deviations away from its own previous two years.

What you can ask

  • Are markets under strain this week?
  • Which relationships are breaking, and in which families?
  • How does this week compare with 2008 or 2020?
  • Is gold still moving with equities?

What it will not do

Every tool is read-only. Nothing here can place a trade, move money or change a record. It returns derived statistics only, never price or index levels. Every answer names its week and how to cite it. Descriptive, not a forecast, and not investment advice.
