v1.1.0MIT

Modular job-search assistant: setup + personas, self-discovery, LinkedIn review, resume & cover letter tailoring, networking & event prep, interview prep/practice/debrief, negotiation, and daily stand-up / weekly retro. Bring your own tools or none.

job-search-discovery

Self-discovery for job seekers. A short, playful, interactive quiz (multiple choice, this-or-that, ranking, quick scenarios) that surfaces strengths, energizers, must-haves and must-nots, and candidate roles. It then writes a Mnookin-style two-pager, a one-sentence Candidate–Market Fit statement and ranked target roles, and updates the job-search profile so every other module uses them. Use when the user doesn't know what to target, is pivoting, feels stuck, asks "what should I do next", "what am I good at", "what roles fit me", or wants a two-pager, career clarity, or a positioning statement. Grounded in What Color Is Your Parachute, Never Search Alone, Designing Your Life, Pivot, Reverse the Search, The Job Closer and Linked.

job-search-interview

Interview assistant for the job search, covering prep, mock practice and debrief. Prep builds a company/role/interviewer brief, likely questions with CAR answers, questions to ask, prep tasks and a calendar block. Practice runs a timed mock interview (voice mode recommended, 25 min default) with CAR/Competence/Warmth feedback. Debrief takes a recording, transcript (Fireflies, Granola, Otter, Meet/Zoom), notes or a talk-through, scores the interview, drafts the thank-you, and updates tasks and the tracker. Use when the user has an interview coming up, wants to practise answers or "tell me about yourself", or just finished an interview or recruiter screen. Grounded in The Job Closer, Reverse the Search, Career Coach GPT and The 2-Hour Job Search.

job-search-linkedin

LinkedIn profile review for job seekers. Scores a profile against a specific target role on a weighted 100-point rubric plus a 7-advisor panel, harvests the keyword gap, drafts 3–5 alternatives per section in the user's voice, exports a ranked action plan (Todoist, TickTick, Asana, CSV, Markdown), and re-checks the profile later to see what shipped. Accepts a PDF, screenshots, an HTML save or a full LinkedIn data export. Refreshes its platform research with a quick web search when it's stale. Use when the user mentions their LinkedIn profile, headline, About section, recruiter visibility, "score/review/optimize my LinkedIn", or "why am I not getting recruiter interest". Grounded in Linked, Career Coach GPT, The Job Closer, Reverse the Search and Never Search Alone.

job-search-negotiation

Offer evaluation and negotiation assistant. Covers comp research, side-by-side offer comparison against must-haves, a negotiation plan (anchor, levers, walk-away), scripts and email drafts for the counter, competing offers, timeline extensions and non-salary asks, plus a live rehearsal with a recruiter role-play. Use when the user is asked about salary expectations, gets an offer or a verbal number, has competing offers, wants to counter, accelerate another process, decline gracefully, or decide between offers. Grounded in Reverse the Search, Career Coach GPT, Never Search Alone and Linked.

job-search-networking

Job-search networking assistant — drafts outreach (Dalton 6-Point cold email, LinkedIn notes, warm reconnects, referral asks, thank-yous, update notes), preps networking events (agenda triage, people tiers, brief, calendar blocks, follow-up tasks), and triages contacts into a short, finishable send list. Use when the user wants to reach out to someone, ask for an informational interview, request a referral or intro, follow up or thank someone, prep for a meetup/conference/happy hour, decide which events or sessions are worth it, or work through a contact list. Grounded in The 2-Hour Job Search, Never Search Alone, Reverse the Search and Linked. Runs a short setup the first time.

job-search-resume

Resume and cover letter assistant. It scores a resume or cover letter against a job description (weighted 100-point rubric, keyword gap, ATS check) and tailors both to a specific role using GLORY, the 3 Ns and the Pareto cover letter, with before/after scores. Use when the user wants to tailor, assess, score, rewrite or proofread a resume or cover letter, check fit or keyword match for a job posting, or asks "how competitive am I for this role" or "is this ready to send". Works from the user's own resume and past applications; it falls back to built-in templates when there are none. Grounded in Reverse the Search, Career Coach GPT, The Job Closer and Linked.

job-search-rhythm

Lightweight operating rhythm for a job search. A 2-minute daily stand-up (done yesterday, plan today, blockers, suggested time blocks) and a weekly retro followed by week-ahead planning (wins, time vs. priorities, one lesson to apply → intention, top 5 priorities, 5 secondary objectives, dated events and loose tasks → suggested calendar blocks). Optionally pulls data first from connected email, calendar, tasks and tracker, or just talks it through. Can be scheduled. Use for "daily brief", "stand-up", "what should I do today", "plan my week", "weekly review", "retro", "how did my week go", or the job-search scorecard.

job-search-setup

Onboarding and hub for the Job Search Assistant suite. Runs the full setup, either Quick (copy a proven Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Notion, TickTick and Fireflies stack) or bring-your-own (a short quiz per component), picks an assistant persona, creates or imports the tracker (Notion, Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, CSV, Obsidian), merges existing project instructions (Claude, ChatGPT, custom GPT, Gemini Gem, AGENTS.md) or notes, and writes job-search-profile.md, which every module reads. Also answers "what can you do / where do I start" and routes to the right module. Use for "set up my job search", "onboard me", "change my settings or persona", "import my tracker", "connect my tools", or "help with my job search" with no specific task.
