v1.1.2MIT

Skills for working as a member of your First Team: the most senior team you sit on. Set it up, keep each peer's page current, see the week across the team, prep, review and get feedback.

changed

Put two months side by side and show what shifted in what my First Team works on and talks about. Use before writing a plan, an update or a request to the leadership team.

feedback

Feedback for me on how I work as a First Team member this month: where I showed up for my peers, and where I stayed quiet, came unprepared or only brought my own function. Drafts what I should have said.

files

Take my baseline, then turn my First Team answer into one file per person that keeps itself current: choose where the files are kept and how often they update, write them, count where I start, build the first weekly dashboard and set the schedule. Run after setup.

prep

Prep me for any meeting with my First Team: the weekly leadership meeting or time with one peer. What each person is focused on, where my team can help, and what I said I would bring.

refresh

Build My First Team this week every Monday: where I started and where I am now, what the business needs, what my peers' visible week went to, my team's blockers reframed as asks, and what to do. On the schedule I chose, it also updates each First Team file.

review

Run anything past my First Team before it goes out: a decision, a message, a plan or a finished deliverable. One line per person for something short; each person's read and one combined list of changes for something finished.

setup

Set up my First Team project, one step at a time: paste the instructions, keep memory in the project, add the leadership team's material, then find my First Team. Run it in the first chat of a new project called My First Team.
