alexvm35/axiomyx-codex-build

v0.1.0

Use an explicitly selected local development workspace through Axiomyx checkpoints, bounded code navigation and verified original-source evidence. Requires the compatible Axiomyx developer runtime; the normal Personal app alone does not provide these operations.

Axiomyx Codex Build 0.1.0

A local Codex skill for checkpoint-aware code navigation and verified source reads using the existing Axiomyx developer runtime. Codex still interprets the task, edits the authoritative workspace and runs its normal tests. Axiomyx supplies persistent source addresses, signed evidence references and original-byte verification.

Required installation

  • Local Codex with skills, shell access and an explicitly approved workspace.
  • Existing Python 3.9+ for the standard-library binding validator (tested: 3.13.7).
  • Separately installed, approved Axiomyx Pilot1 0.1.1 Intel macOS runtime built from source identity 64b72094812f74b72c493a44fbaa715653e0a1a3, including its complete _internal directory and verified build receipt.
  • An isolated private vault and immutable address record bound to that exact workspace.

The ordinary Axiomyx Personal Store app alone is not this developer runtime. This download contains the skill, not the engine. Installing it does not create a working hosted Chat connector or silently obtain access to a workspace.

Install the skills/axiomyx-codex-build directory into your Codex skill directory, normally ~/.codex/skills/axiomyx-codex-build. Preserve an existing version/local edits before replacement. Alternatively install the whole package through a supported Codex local plugin marketplace. Follow the setup reference to create an approved checkpoint and binding. Start a fresh local Codex session in that workspace and type:

$axiomyx-codex-build Investigate the requested change, implement it and run the relevant tests.

After a coherent development step, explicitly checkpoint; there is no save watcher or background service. Changed source bytes invalidate old evidence until a new checkpoint and explicit re-verification. Compact catalogue descriptions are navigation, not facts about implementation.

Scope and limitations

Version 0.1.0 supports the tested Python code-unit workflow on Intel macOS. Other languages and files may be edited normally but are outside this indexed coverage. Source originals stay authoritative. Skill/binding updates do not alter the kernel, canonical pipeline, index, signed reader, live app, MCP adapter, credentials or production connection.

Private bindings, vaults, receipts and source evidence remain outside this package and Git. No additional paid API, account key or relay is created. Evidence returned to the agent becomes part of that agent's context; source verification does not prevent all reasoning mistakes. This package does not claim token savings or public customer-release qualification.

Update and rollback

Retain the previous named skill/plugin version and exact binding. Install only this skill/plugin, then validate the same approved runtime identity. Do not replace customer data or other configuration. To roll back, restore that previous skill and binding. To uninstall, remove/disable only axiomyx-codex-build and its exact workspace binding. Keep private vaults and immutable records unless separately authorized to delete them. The engine is a standalone executable, not a service.

Publication status

Repository/ZIP distribution is separate from OpenAI Directory approval. The universal Directory requires review, and plugins whose core value requires local execution may need product-specific eligibility review. This skill does not route around that limitation or claim to run in hosted Chat without a local execution host. The runtime's local signatures are not Apple notarization or a public runtime-distribution approval.
