v1.0.5
Any Mailbox lets ChatGPT work in an email account you already have, connected through your MCPEmails account. It lists, searches and reads messages and attachment text, sends, replies and forwards, saves drafts, moves, flags, archives and deletes messages, manages folders, schedules a send, and sets follow-up reminders and snoozes where the account includes them. You choose the permission level when you connect, and a mailbox can hold every send for your approval. Mail you read is fetched live and not stored.

"displayName": "Any Mailbox",
"shortDescription": "Read, send and organize email",
"longDescription": "Any Mailbox connects ChatGPT to an email account you already have, through your MCPEmails account. ChatGPT can list and search messages, read one message or several at once, read the text of attachments, send, reply and forward, save and update drafts, move, copy, flag, archive and delete messages, create and rename folders, schedule a message for a later time, read and set your signature, and find people you have written to. On accounts that include reminders, it can set a follow-up reminder on a message you sent or snooze an incoming one.\n\nAccounts it works with: Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 (Microsoft sign-in), Gmail and Google Workspace (app password), iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail, Fastmail, Zoho Mail and Yandex Mail (app password), and any mail server that offers IMAP and SMTP. Several mailboxes can be connected to one account.\n\nYou choose the permission level when you connect: read only; read, draft and send; full access including folders, deleting and scheduling; or a custom set. Each tool declares the permission it needs, and a tool outside your grant is refused. A mailbox can be set on mcpemails.com to hold every send for approval: ChatGPT prepares the message, and nothing leaves until you approve it on the review page. Where ChatGPT shows app cards, a send shows a receipt card, a saved draft opens in an editable card, and a bulk move or delete shows a result card with an Undo button.\n\nMail you read is fetched from your provider for each request and is not stored. Messages you schedule or hold for approval, and the reminders you set, are stored encrypted until they are sent, approved, rejected or done. Mailbox passwords and sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Reading a message does not mark it as read. Message content that comes back from a mailbox is passed to ChatGPT marked as untrusted content, so text inside an email is treated as data to report on, never as instructions.\n\nLimitations: an MCPEmails account with at least one connected mailbox is required, and mailbox setup (sign-in, app password or server details) happens on mcpemails.com, not in chat. Files attached to a message total at most 10 MB. Deleting moves a message to Trash unless permanent deletion is asked for explicitly. Automation rules are managed on mcpemails.com; here they can be listed, previewed, disabled and deleted. Operated by Albretsen AS, Norway.",

"release_notes": "Version 1.0.5.\n\nTools added since the last scan: reminder_list, reminder_follow_up (track a sent message and list it as due when no reply arrives), reminder_snooze (move a message out of the inbox and bring it back at a set time), reminder_done and reminder_cancel, listed on accounts that include reminders (the demo account does). Each has explicit readOnlyHint, destructiveHint and openWorldHint values.\n\nAnnotation change: draft_editor_save is now destructiveHint: true, because it overwrites a saved draft's fields.\n\nIn-chat cards: a send, reply or forward now carries a receipt card; a saved draft opens in an editable card where the user can change, save or send it; a bulk move or delete shows a result card with Undo. The text results the model reads are unchanged.\n\nOther tool changes: tool descriptions are written as statements of behaviour; a reply goes to the Reply-To address when the original has one.\n\nListing: the long description now describes what the tools do, which accounts connect, the permission levels, approval holds and what is stored. Support URL points at the help page. Starter prompts no longer depend on relative dates. Test cases rewritten so each stands alone and can be rerun on web and mobile in any order; the first negative case no longer asks ChatGPT to write an email. Creating, updating and enabling automation rules is still not offered in this version."
