compare-pdfpairs

Compare PDF pairs (name.pdf + name<suffix>.pdf) under a folder to tell whether they print identically and whether their text differs, e.g. before deleting "-signed" or "-needsocr" duplicates. Triggers: "compare pdf pairs", "find duplicate pdfs", "are these pdfs identical", "dedupe scanned pdfs".

Compatibility: Requires PowerShell 7+ and poppler-utils (pdftoppm, pdftotext) on PATH
