Configure and operate Deployer 8 for Composer-based TYPO3 projects, including new deploy.php recipes, safe in-place upgrades from Deployer 7, and GitHub Actions SSH deployments. Use when deploying TYPO3 with Deployer, migrating deployer/deployer from v7 to v8, or adding a CI deployment workflow. Do not use for TYPO3 core upgrades, server provisioning, or non-Deployer release systems.

Compatibility

Requires PHP 8.3 or later, Composer 2, Git, OpenSSH, and network access to the deployment host. GitHub Actions setup also requires repository administration access for environments, secrets, and variables.
