retain-email-search

Searches and reads the user's connected Gmail through Retain, by Gmail query syntax across all their accounts and, where Retain has indexed it, by meaning, then answers from the messages it has read. Use when the user asks to find an email, check what someone wrote or promised in their inbox, or answer a question from email. Do not use for meetings, threads or tasks (retain-search does that), to send or change mail, or to read what is inside an attachment.

Requires the Retain MCP connector or the retain CLI, with email search enabled.
