Reload or restart the Hermes gateway on a remote VPS over SSH with the native v0.22.5 lifecycle: gateway restart --detach, then gateway ensure --json until it reports a ready gateway with a new instance. Use after a config or .env change, or when the gateway is stuck or down. Works from any AI agent (Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI).
