v0.3.1MIT

Resolves software trade-offs with TRIZ: the contradiction matrix and 40 inventive principles, the separation principles, and ARIZ-85C walked part by part with the user.

contradiction

Resolve a trade-off between two software requirements with TRIZ, so the answer is a set of named inventive directions and not a list of tips. State the contradiction, set the ideal final result, read Altshuller's contradiction matrix or the separation principles, and adapt each principle to the user's system. Use when improving one thing makes another worse, when two requirements look incompatible, or when one thing must be both long and short, open and closed, frozen and editable. Use when the only option on the table is a middle setting, a split-the-difference limit or a pick of one side, and the user wants a smarter way or both. Use even when the user never says TRIZ, and even when they also want a note, a comment or a message drafted from the answer. Use even when a direct answer looks easy: the matrix names directions a plain answer misses. A problem that keeps coming back after fixes, tensions that feed each other, or a matrix lookup that gave nothing belong to the ariz skill of this package.
